Ultimate Body Mind Warrior was originally Mens Nude Yoga & Fitness Melbourne on the website Meet-up. The new name chosen for this group was NOT because you will wind up looking like Chris Hemsworth in Thor (unless you really work hard!). But because in order to stay healthy in this life it’s not just about our physical body health. Our mental & emotional health needs to hold just as big a priority. We shifted from Meet-up to a website to have more chance of creating a bigger community and marketing to you all on an easier platform with better payment options.
Our mental and emotional health is just as important as our physical health!!! So come join us on this journey to a more wholisitic approach.
In our weekly group classes we work with the physical body via the Fitness Circuit classes. We work with the physical, mental and emotional bodies by way of the Yoga classes.
We focus on the community building before and after class. Hanging out with each other, from all walks of life and sharing stories, our experiences and maybe even getting advice when needed. The enrichment the regulars have received over the past 15 years is testament to the community that we all contribute to by showing up and being social and participating in the classes.
The Naked element is quite niche and as we’ve been told before is ‘very’ alternative. Hence the ‘Ultimate’ Body Mind Warrior… doing it all without a shield or protection. The naked approach is not a sexual approach, nor is it encouraged to bring any sexual element to a class. Many of us have european heritage and with that a natural acceptance of our body ‘as it is,’ without shame. It is a healthy headspace and a great love that we can grant ourself. Many of us in Australia were brought up prudish and ashamed of our naked body. Many people have trauma and experiences where being naked had a negative impact.
We do not wish to trigger any past trauma, nor are any of us professional psychologists, but through our own self discovery of attending nude events and participating in naked classes, we have found our body image and fears surrounding being nude, have softened over time and a greater level of self-acceptance enters our consciousness.
Located: Run from a private home in Eltham 10 minute walk from the Station.

Melbourne Mens Nude Yoga – TUESDAY
This is a non-sexual event. Open to men.
*Maximum 7-8 STUDENTS CAN ATTEND.
Class goes ahead if minimum 2 guys book
The class normally starts @7.15pm – 8:15-30pm.
(You can arrive from 6.40pm for pre-yoga chat with the community)
All classes are suitable for beginners.
Class will involve postures (asanas), breathing (pranayama), meditation (pratyahara) & relaxation (short ‘yoga nidra’ at the end).
To build the community we encourage you to arrive from 6.40pm so you can settle and hang and chat with the other guys attending the session. We’ve found over the years that even if you are hesitant or slightly anxious about joining the community, sitting down at the beginning and having a cuppa allows one to feel more comfortable with everyone present.
Please respect personal boundaries of all the students who come.

Melbourne Mens Nude Fitness SATURDAY MORNING
- Arrive from 8.15am for pre class chat and chill. We normally start between 8.30-8.45am so if you’re running late send a text so we know!
FITNESS CLASS: Strengthen, Stretch and Sweat,
includes:
1. Warm up stretches & Joint mobilization + specific stretches tailored for attendees lack of flexibility or range of motion in certain areas.
Dynamic and resistant (stretch therapy style) opening up the body and warming up.
2. Mini Timed Circuits done together
• Body-weight holds– planks/ side planks/ ab crunch / done back to back to get at cardio and core strength
3. Introduce you to:
• Body weight movements (calisthenics) – to move joints through space and build functional strength
4. 30 minute HIIT style circuit:
• 6- 8 stations where you do 20-30 seconds on, of that exercise THEN 10 seconds off, moving to the next station.
Exercises include body-weight or light weights – push ups/ dips/ pull ups/ squats/ and differing variations
5. Cool Down with deeper therapeutic stretches + Lay down/relaxation
• post workout stretches + 7 minute chill out at end for nervous system to process.
POST CLASS: Hang out naked for community chat and chill until 10.30am
Requirements:
Sign a pre class waiver – be fit to complete a 30 minute HIIT circuit.
(If unsure go to your GP and get their advice & blood pressure check. Injuries can occur if your body awareness & training isn’t appropriate to some Higher intensity training )
And in keeping with the Nude Yoga theme, it’ll be done like the Ancient Olympics – in the buff!
